Painting over mold would help you visually, as you won’t be able to see the mould for a period of time, however, this doesn’t  mean it’s disappeared. You can paint over mould, but it will always reappear if you don’t stop it in its tracks. You would often be recommended to get mould resistant paint, but do you really want to paint all over your bedroom walls and see it all peeling off?
