Leaking pipe and plaster repair

Prokil were asked to attend a property in Poole regarding a damp issue in the downstairs toilet. The client was concerned as there were abnormalities present on the painted finish of an internal wall.

Findings

One of our expert surveyors attended the property and after investigations concluded that a leak was likely to be the cause of the problem. After being instructed to investigate further the leak was found to be emanating from an uncapped old pipe buried in the wall.

What we did

Prokil’s fully trained operatives attended the property to rectify the damp problem. The leak was fixed, the affected plaster removed and the area re-rendered. The wall was finished to a high standard with a multi finish plaster.
