Mrs L of Brighton approached us regarding damp within her property. A survey was promptly booked at a time suitable to her. The surveyor attended and carried out a no-obligation survey to ascertain the cause. Once complete, a report was sent to the customer within 24 hours showing any findings, recommendations and costings for Prokil to carry out the works.
Upon being given the go ahead, our operatives attended the property to carry out the recommended works. The customer already had a clear idea of what to expect as prior communication had included scope of works as well as timescales. The site was attended by the Branch Manager on the first day and regular visits were carried out to check progress throughout until signing the job off. At all times care was taken
The works involved removing the existing plaster back to the wall, applying a waterproof membrane, plaster boarding the area and finally applying a finishing plaster over this. The area had the skirting board re-attached and the site was left clean and tidy with rubbish collection already organised.
Once the customer was happy with the completed works and the invoice was sent and paid, a guarantee was issued for the waterproof membrane works.
