We’re Different
Unlike some other damp proofing, timber treatment and waterproofing companies, Prokil do not employ commission-based ‘salesmen’. Therefore you can rest assured that when one of our specialist damp surveyors visits your property to inspect a damp or timber problem, they are not there to ‘find work’ but to advise and recommend measures to control and cure problems.
Following a home buyer’s survey or mortgage valuation survey, you may have received a pre-purchase report where the surveyor’s report has highlighted a list of defects relating to rising damp, timber problems or other issues. Prokil provide practical advice and written quotations where necessary, for any remedial damp and timber decay repairs that have been specified by your mortgage lender’s building surveyors. Each of our reports carry a no-obligation need to proceed and are provided with extensive detail.

Expert Surveyors
Should you find you are in need for remedial damp proofing work, timber preservation treatment or waterproofing then you may be unsure who to ask for assistance. At Prokil Limited, all of our specialist damp surveyors are either independently qualified or working towards qualifications and have all undergone vigorous training to ensure that they are able to correctly identify problems, what has caused them and what remedial work, if any, is required. All Prokil Limited Damp and Timber Surveyors are certificated surveyors in remedial treatments, CSRT or certificated surveyor in damp and timber in buildings, CSTDB. Our basement and cellar waterproofing surveyors are all certificated surveyors in structural waterproofing, CSSW.
Our damp proof specialist surveyors undergo continual professional development, (CPD), to make sure that they are always training to stay up to date with the latest systems, technologies and processes.
