The Institute of Specialist Surveyors and Engineers
Set up in the 1970’s, the Institute of Specialist Surveyors and Engineers (ISSE) promote professional standards within the fields of specialist surveying, engineering and related professions. Member activities range from the investigation of all types of dampness including condensation through to structural defects.
Providing the public and the industry with a wide range of skilled specialists that have embraced the constant development of new building materials, products and construction techniques, ISSE also respects the conservation of heritage construction methods, protecting existing property built using unique historical techniques.
ISSE are recognised as the 31st Full Member of the Construction Industry Council – a body that currently has over 500,000 members and forms the backbone of the UK Construction Industry. These organisations come together to raise one voice in the formulation and development of construction policies.
